This year's Over The Next Hill Ride will again begin on the courthouse steps on the historic Liberty, Missouri town square. It looks like our route is set. The dice run/ pledge ride route will be different than last year but will again be a great ride, around 65 miles long and will cover some of the best two-lane blacktop motorcycling roads in our part of Missouri. Join us as we take in the gently rolling hills and beautiful scenery.
Mark your calendar for Sunday, June 24, 2001. On-site registration will begin at 10:00 a.m. and bikes will leave the square promptly at 12:30. Be sure to get a pledge sheet when you register.
This year's grand prize for the person who brings in the most pledges is a full set of leather riding gear -- vest, jacket and chaps -- from Mid America's Custom Cycles in Independence. (Last year's top pledge amount was over $300, so aim high!)

We're also doing some promotional events before the ride this year. You may have heard Slacker from the radio station 99.7 KY talking with Brodee live at the Bike Show at the Governer's Expo Hall on Feb 2, 3 and 4. We raised $75 in donations at the Heartland Riders Bike Show at Blue Ridge Mall March 16, 17 and 18. We particpated in and sponsored a trophy at the Tough Enough Weekend in March in Kearney, MO.
Mid America's Custom Cycles helped us get the word out at Indepence Center on the weekend of April 7 & 8. Our display showcased some beautiful new bikes, photos from last year's ride and the lastest news from Over the Next Hill. At the City Union Mission Ride on May 5th we were there handing out flyers and registration forms.
